The Pointed Arch was an innovative technological revolution in architecture.
On similar lines, on the Internet we have this special Pointed Arch where professionals from the AEC industry can gather and discuss their knowledge about software technology in architecture. We have invented a neat utility that can intelligently analyse the messages appearing in the status bar of certain applications used in the AEC industry and then allow you to directly post your thoughts about what you are working on into the forum here.
So this is quite useful to ask for tech help on these software. This is the short summary, we have more details about this.
As you may have seen; there is no direct way to sign-up for Pointed Arch. You can do that using the utility. You have to download that utility and run it on your Windows computer. You can then sign-up for Pointed Arch and use this.
When you sign-up, you would be given some free credits. Some of the credits are consumed when you post your thoughts from within the utility -- Since the utility keeps track of the status bar of the application you are using, it will intelligently tag your post correctly. You can later on look for replies from other community members.
You can also start a post directly at the website of Pointed Arch forums... and there no credits would be consumed. However, in such a case, you would need to tag the post manually and it will also be placed into a moderation queue.
Come join us! We need to holistically solve problems in ALL software technology together at one place.
*Currently the utility runs only on Windows. We plan to make it for other OS soon
